IT'S AN AIR FILTER. NOTHING MORE. NOTHING LESS. WILL SAVE YOU MONEY IN THE LONG RUN BY NOT HAVING TO BUY A NEW ONE EVERY FIFTY THOUSAND MILES OR SO. THE CAR DOES RESPOND BETTER AND PERHAPS A MILE MORE PER GALLONS OF GAS GAINED. IF THIS WAS ACHEIVED BY ADDING AN AIR FILTER, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT A WHOLE NEW INTAKE WOULD ACCOMPLISH. IT SHOULD BE ARRIVING IN THE MAIL SHORTLY. ZOOOMMMMM....... ZOOOMMMMM....... SOME COMPLAIN THE OIL USED TO RE-OIL THE FILTER MAY OR DOES CONTAMINTE THE MASS-AIR FLOW SENSOR. I BEG TO DIFFER. THIS IS ONLY REVELANT IF YOU OVERAPPLY THE SOLUTION, EVEN STILL ALL IS NOT LOST IN "KEEPING" THE SENSOR. br /br /I'M MR. COOPER. THAT'S MY TWO CENTS. NOW SPEND IT WISELY.

Excellent performance improvement. - J. Nerney -
Though this is a simple air filter, it definately is a strong improvement over the stock cotton-screen which GM installed in my Pontiac G8 GXP.br /br /This air filter certainly provides more airflow and a stronger whine on acceleration. Though I now have a Cold Air Intake with a different air filter, I would certainly recommend this drop-in filter for those wanting a quick fix for air induction.br /br /
